John Wick yourself.
This week we're joined by Antony Stevens, writer and designer at Cloudhead Games, a Canadian VR studio best known for Colette's favorite obsession: Pistol Whip.
It's a VR experience that transcends multiple genres, often referred to as a "first-person shooter, action, rhythm game." It's like if SUPERHOT, Beat Saber, John Wick, and The Matrix had a baby.
We chat with Antony about how Cloudhead was building VR games before there was even a market for them, and why Pistol Whip hit all the right notes just in time for VR's resurgence. Also, player "good will" as a durable business model, and the unforeseen challenges of VR development.
